I may have not gotten a job in Japan but I was given the same treatment by a Japanese chef that wanted me to clean all the dishes before I left EXCEPT the buses for my route would close for the day and I wasn't gonna stay in Waikiki for six hours PLUS (at the time) I worked for a temp agency I am not compelled to stay more than the allotted time than what I was told to do... The Japanese chef didn't see it that way... So I left
